Digital TNG Season 1-2 Uniform
Hi.
This is not a physical sewing project, so everyone may not be interested in this, but I thought I would share it here anyway as I'm basing it of sewing patterns from Bad Wolf Costumes.
I've been working on a digital avatar of a certain captain for my 3D portfolio for a while now. As mentioned I'm been using the sewing guide for the titled uniform as a base to work from, as there is no digital pattern currently available (though soon i hear, fingers crossed!)
Progress so far is attached. Some niggling issues persist that I'm working out. I did get the TNG skant pattern which helped for the yoke, though it seems a bit different from what is used in the sewing guide.
It should be noted that I'm using Marvelous Designer for this work, and seam allowances is not included for most of the parts of the pattern on the left. It can be done and I did test it, but it's not the recommended workflow. I'll probably put in proper seams at the end if it ends up looking better.
I'll try to update this as I make changes.

Crap. Just realized I clicked the wrong Star Trek Image, and ended up posting in the trophy room instead of Ten Forward. Feel free to move this thread or delete, I can repost. Sorry!

That's really cool, David! Nice work! 🙂
Although similarly styled and constructed, the yokes are/were actually slightly different on the jumpsuits and skants.
And yes, digital TNG jumpsuit pattern downloads will hopefully be available in the next few months. 😉
