Description

Women's TNG jumpsuit sewing pattern - Tailors Gone Wild

This is a sewing pattern for the women's TNG-era jumpsuit uniforms.

This all-new pattern (2023) is FAR superior to the previous version (available from Bad Wolf Costumes, circa 2017-2022).

This time, we’ve patterned directly off multiple screen-used TNG jumpsuits (including two “hero” jumpsuits for Beverly Crusher and Tasha Yar). The pattern features authentic body paneling, asymmetrical seam contours, custom shoulder padding, and overall proportions.

This pattern includes FOUR jumpsuit styles:

  • Early version (primarily seen in the first two seasons)
  • Front-zipping later version
  • Back-zipping “hero” version
  • “Yesterday's Enterprise” alternate timeline variant

All four versions are included in women’s sizes 6-24.

The sewing pattern is printed on four large sheets and also includes a printed copy of text-only instructions.

This pattern was excellent! All of my seems lined up so perfectly I couldn’t believe it. The only thing I had to modify was the size. I used the size 8 pattern which fit me in the bust, hips, and length, but was very large under the armpits so I just snugged it up with an extra seam and it was all good to go! Also, the instructions were pretty easy to follow, and I was able to make it in a day and a half. I would suggest having the patterns be separated, though. I don’t have a printer, so I had to go to UPS to print it and it ended up being very expensive because I couldn’t just print the things I needed for one of the jumpsuits, I had to print all of them out because they were all jumbled together. However, I understand that this is simply to make best use of the pattern space.
I got to meet a large portion of the Next Generation cast in this, and I’m so glad that I made this!
